Sunday Stills: Black and White

Skeleton Flower gone to seed in the Short Grass Prairie.

Down in the creek, now lush from the rains.

Bird's nest lined with wool.

I love the wool in the nest. When we had trees before the Great Ice Storm the birds used the flower tags from nursery plants in their nests.

I found them very resourceful. Some built better nests than others.

I'm laughing at myself now by not getting that the theme was Black and White photo's with no color, he he. I'm crazy like that but I really did like my B&W butterflys!

Ann, the momma looks like a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher to me, but I read they built nests out of spiderwebs and lichen, so I'm not yet sure.
