Sunday Stills: Doors and Doorknobs

Short on time, I photographed these doorknobs and handle all from one of our old farm sheds this afternoon. I tried to look for the abstract in line and composition.

This is a really fine group of images! I like your hand shadow in pic #1 -- adds a bit of humor to the image. I also like the gritty worn down door knob in pic #3 -- good eye! Brava!

Agree with Stan and Nancy the shadow works perfectly on the old door ... and thanks for asking, but safe from the floods. The River is 3 miles across as opposed to the normal 1/2 mile!!

Perfect setup on that last one - I love that you got both the knob and the latch plate!

Thank you so much for the kind words about Bumble. I can't tell you how much we miss her. I have somehow misplaced your email address. Thinking of you as well.

I have a door lock too. They make good macro photos.
