My latest whimsy is collecting antique bird, insect, and flower buttons. I'm hoping to incorporate them into my jewelry making, or at least use them for inspiration. I am in the early phase of appreciating them without knowing much about their history.

That's really pretty!
Very cool. I love it.
Wow! So unique. I've never seen anything like that before. What made you decide to start collecting them and how di you find your first one?
Oh and................
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE NEW 50 AND FABULOUS WOMAN!
Here's to another 50 years!
Wish I could be there to help you celebrate. I've got another 6 years before I turn 50, but if you were here, I'd take you to Ten Thousand Waves for a spa treatment and some hot tub soaking in the fresh mountain air, and then out to dinner in Santa Fe. Did someone say "Margaritas"? hehe! We'd have a blast!
