Color Carnival: Yarn

Here's some fun yarn I caught on sale this week, just enough to knit a psychedelic shawl! Be sure to check out the colorful world of photography at Color Carnival.

How lovely these colors are! I'm curious what you plan to 'weave' with it. FYI ... the link you left at Color Carnival takes us to LAST week's post so you might want to fix it. I played on Wednesday at Sacred Ruminations and Happily Retired Gal because I was confused about the day to post.
Hugs and blessings,

I will probably knit a fun, lacy shawl and then photograph it again for Color Carnival!

Thanks for pointing out the bad link. I've posted the correct one now, although I have no way to delete the first.

Lovely colors, they look variegated. Are they? I am very interested in the type of yarns you use. I stick with Red Heart. You knit I crochet. I have some afghans I did and I posted quite a few in my blog. Generally I am more into flower designs. I am technically challenged so I learn as I go, one at a time. Than ks for the visit.

I use all kinds and brands of yarns and choose by color and texture. I guess you would say I am experimental. This yarn is variegated and changes textures. Should be interesting!

I love to weave. My loom is over 100 years old and I haven't been able to replace a broken part, so I've turned to knitting. Even though I know how to use needles I kind of like the ease of the knitting loom which I first learned on as a child.

I will go back and look for some of your afghan photos. Thanks for visiting.

This is so pretty! I love it and it's perfect for the Color Carnival! I can't wait to see the shawl or whatever you end up making with this!

Love the colors. Makes me wish I had the talent to create something with it.
