Sunday Stills: Textures

To see some interesting textures I created in metal visit my previous post to see my latest bracelet project!

Raindrops on parched ground. What you see is about all that fell.
Our well is starting to suck air.

Cracked Earth with dead grass. Except for our drip irrigated garden,
much of our once beautiful land looks like this.

Seedpods on dirt. Looks like they have been gnawed by wildlife.

Visit Sunday Stills for more textures!

The second photo is so detailed and you could really tell that the land is so dry and parched. I love your photography and your bracelet in your post down below.
P.S. Sorry, I have to delete the comment. I have a wordpress blog and another blog account co-authored by someone else. I do not want it confusing. It is my first to join Sunday Stills and my post is here

That second shot is fantastic. I like the placement of what looks like a leaf and some string? (but most probably isn't!) was that intentional?

So very sorry about the drought. I spent a good part of my life in Texas and it's sad to see it like that. Transylvania sage is pretty wonderful stuff if you live where it gets really cold like we do, overwinters in zone 3!

I love the second shot, however I wouldn't like it in real life! I can't imagine not having grass- or even rain for that matter. Well at least the important thing is growing!

The cracked ones are very neat. Love them all though.

I love that dry cracked piece of earth..I wish you some rainfall soon(not a flood!) and then hope to see this same patch again...all mud!

Wow. Impressive textural photos. And I though we were dry here. We keep getting some spitting rain, but mostly just lightning. I'm worrying about fire danger. We usually have our monsoons about this time every year....and our grass finally starts to grow.

What do you do when the well runs dry? Just haul in water?
gah!
